Master bathtub/shower to luxury walk-in shower conversion
- Removed a poorly installed fiberglass bathtub and walls that were leaking both behind the wall and along the outside edges resulting in damaged drywall
- Replumbed piping to repair leaking; removed all damaged material
- Relocated shower handle to entrance (rather than directly under shower head)
- Enlarged space to make shower larger and ceiling higher
- Completely reconstructed new shower with DUROCK cement board
- Installed new tile with decorative border; tile on floor and ceiling on diagonal
- Beautiful frameless glass panel adds light and openness
- Trimmed with Kohler Devonshire fixture in oil rubbed bronze finish

- Transfored kitchen with new all-wood, raised-panel, full-overlay maple maple cabinetry with hazelnut glazing
- Installed beautiful granite countertops with stainless steel undermount sink and Moen faucet

- A bath with a lot of potential but with the lowest grade finishes
- Original builder spent as little as possible with laminate tops, plain white tile and ‘Hollywood’ lighting
- Poorly installed shower has resulted in water leaks around enclosure, causing damage
- Oddly designed floorplan creates awkward traffic patterns and many doors that open into and infringe upon the room
- New bath configuration eliminates linen closet and doubles the size of the shower; additionally, a new pocket door at the water closet eliminates swing doors encroaching on the room
- Luxury shower is a walk-around complete with two shower heads (with handles conveniently located at the shower entrance), bench seating and built-in niche shelving
- Kohler Archer soaking tub and lavatories pair with Moen Icon plumbing fixtures in this contemporary bath
- Beautiful gray-blue tile is accented by coordinating pebble tile on shower floor, created a cool, serene color palate
- Sleek, full-overlay cabinetry with granite top includes convenient countertop cabinet column for additional storage

Dreambuilder Twelve: Interior Remodel

Kitchen transformation
- AWARD WINNER: 2011 First Coast Remodelers Awards
- This kitchen was last updated about 35 years ago
- A room of the time, it is a small room (only 8′ x 14′) and so suffers from a lack of storage space, too many entrances and a closed-off feeling
- Outdated cabinetry and old, malfunctioning appliances make the kitchen difficult to work in
- Dreambuilder opened up the kitchen to the dining room, eliminated the doorway to the living room and built out a new pantry
- New, modern cabinetry with granite countertops and a tiled backsplash were installed
- Behind the scenes, the home’s electrical system was brought up to current code, allowing us the electrical power to install a new wall oven with built-in microwave, separate cooktop with hood and a disposer

Kitchen transformation

- Dreambuilder will swap the locations of the kitchen and breakfast rooms, opening up the archway to the family room to creat one large, open space
- White laminate cabinets will be replaced with all-wood cherry cabinetry with a cocoa glaze finish
- Green laminate countertops will be replaced with exotic granite with a full granite backsplash
- GE Monogram appliances will outfit this chef’s kitchen
- New windows and doors will bring the outside in for this waterfront home

Dreambuilder Fourteen: Interior Remodel

Master shower remodel
- This Eagle Harbour family with a special needs child desired to make their large master shower handicap-accessible by removing the curb and creating a zero-entry shower floor, enabling wheelchair access
- Further accessibility enhancements included a wider, 3′ door opening and grab bar
- For ease in bathing, a second hand-held shower head was added with fixtures by Moen
- Additionally, the entire shower was updated, including new tile with decorative accents and a modern frameless glass shower enclosure, eliminating the outdated brass trim
- Plus, additional tile was installed around the soaking tub to create a unified look in the bath
